Smoke.
smoke Special Effects.
This smoke special effects microsite covers film and tv effects where we’ve created realistic smoke, fog and smog for weather, wisps and vapour, smouldering fires and dense, billowing white or black smoke. There is smoke without fire so start with the feeling and look that you want; there’s great flexibility in how we mix smoke effects and we’ll be happy to explain examples of successful smoke effects including smoke, fog, London smog, and general atmospheric effects for movies and tv.
We’ve over 50 smoke machines (yes, we do a lot of smoke effects) that can create general smoke emissions, fogs and haze to give visual atmosphere to interior and exterior scenes, or smoke pouring from a Power Station cooling tower using our bezler DynaFog 1200 smoke machine, or wisps of smoke from the Look Solutions Compact that fits in your hand. Pyrotechnic smoke is used to create coloured smoke, with black smoke often created by burning diesel or using Naphthalene (never by burning tyres!). All our interior and the majority of exterior smoke effects are non-toxic and adhere to HSE.EH40/92 Occupational Exposure Standard Limit 1992. A detailed pdf document is available on request.
